Althorp Princess Diana

Since the beginning of the 16th century, Althorp located in the North Amptonshire has been the principle place of the Spencer family. Althorp is not only acclaimed as the ancestral house of Princess Diana but also as her final resting place. This site has been opened to public ever since 1953, but it was the burial of Princess Diana that congregated more visitors to Althorp.

The prime attraction to this site is the exhibition on life of Princess Diana that displays her childhood, her royal wedding, her charitable work as well as her influence on fashion. The exhibition is spread over 6 rooms of the Althorp. The entry tickets can be accessed to this site either at the gate or online.
