Black Country Living Museum


Black Country Living Museum covers an expanse of 26 acre nearby the Dudley Castle. The Museum entails the history of Black Country that was at the heart of Industrial Revolution. Black Country comprises of present Wolverampton, Dudley, Sandwell, and Walsall. This site has about 40,000 items at display in its varied collections.

The museum incorporates trained educational and staff dressed in costumes relating the history early 19th and 20th centuries. The living museum comprises of a recreated factory and a village area. Besides these, provision of a cinema showing silent films as well as a school that imparts lesson in the bygone style.
