Ironbridge spreads over 6 sq. miles of the Ironbridge Gorge that is near Telford. It is often associated with the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in Britain, and is an important tourist attraction.

There are about 8 museums under the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust that spread over a total area of 80 acres. In the year 1986, Ironbridge was enlisted as one of the UNESCO's World Heritage Site. In addition to this, a guide has a listed it as one of the most popular Outdoor Attractions in the UK.
