Merseyside Maritime Museum

Merseyside Maritime Museum was initiated in the Albert Dock in Liverpool in the year 1980. The museum puts on display the history of seafaring tradition of Liverpool as well as its merchant navy. It has a collection of shipping records that are accommodated in the maritime Archives and Library. The museum primarily highlights the slave trade through transatlantic as well as the influx of emigrants in the span of 1830 up to 1930.

This museum portrays the significance of Liverpool as the gateway to the world. Some of its priced- possessions are the original shipbuilder's model of Titanic besides the one of the propellers of Lusitania.
