Science Museum


Science Museum with its finest collection of exhibits in science technology and medicine was opened to the public in the year 1857. The trio of Science Museum, National Railway Museum, National Museum of Photography, Film and Television is referred to as national Museum of Science and Industry.

It offers various facilities for research, besides arranging free educational groups for students and even training the teaching staff. The museum displays interactive exhibits that form a meagre 15% of its total collection. It accommodates over 40 galleries that display the finest representation of the history of 300 years of science advancement. Provision of an IMAX film theatre has also been made at the museum for the convenience of its visitors.
