Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey has been the venue for the coronation, wedding as well as the burial of several British monarchs, with the exception of Edward V and Edward VIII from the year 1066. The visitors can view the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Coronation Chair, Royal Tombs and Shrine of Edward the Confessor, Lady Chapel and Poets' Corner, as well as the Royal Chapels amidst other attractions. The existing structure dates back chiefly from the 13th to 16th centuries.
